Upper Bellemont Barn
According to an article in the Times of Trenton, the approximately 260 year old barn along Route 29, is being considered for renovation to house a visitor's center. Residents and commuters will know the structure as being near the Belle Mountain ski area, and the Howell Living History Farm.

Restore Passenger Rail Service?
The borough planning board is forming a task force to decide the best way to gather public opinion on the planned restoration of passenger rail service on the currently freight-only CSX line between Ewing and Bridgewater and how it might affect Hopewell residents. Also, volunteers are being sought for the task force, which would consider whether a survey is needed to update a 2001 poll of local residents on the $219 million project being considered by NJ Transit, which would include a station stop at Railroad Place/Somerset Street in the borough, the Hopewell Valley News reported..
